Group Work

Connection, Discovery, and Shared Experience

While individual therapy offers deep personal focus, group therapy provides a unique opportunity to explore how we relate to others in real-time. It is a powerful space to realize you are not alone in your struggles and to learn from the diverse perspectives of others.

I facilitate several different types of groups throughout the year, both online and in-person in Leyton E10.

Current & Upcoming Groups

I offer a variety of formats to suit different needs and commitments:

Men’s Groups: A dedicated space to explore masculinity, vulnerability, and identity in a culture that often discourages men from emotional openness.

Mixed Identity Groups: Diverse spaces where we explore the intersections of our lived experiences.

12-Week Fixed Groups: Focused, time-limited groups that follow a set journey together from start to finish.

Ongoing Process Groups: Long-term groups with periodic enrollment windows, allowing for deeper, sustained relational work.

New groups begin throughout the year. Please get in touch to find out about the next start dates and current availability.

What is a "Process Group"?

If you haven't attended group therapy before, you might wonder what actually happens.

Unlike a support group which might focus on a specific topic or advice-giving, a Process Group focuses on the here-and-now. We look at the 'process' of what is happening between members in the room.

It is a living laboratory where you can:

  • Notice the patterns you fall into when relating to others.

  • Practice expressing needs and setting boundaries in a safe environment.

  • Experience being seen and heard by a community.

  • Explore how your intersectional identity impacts your sense of belonging.

The group becomes a supportive, confidential space where the frictions and complexities of life can be explored collectively.

Interested in joining a group?

Group work requires a brief initial conversation to ensure the group is the right fit for you and that you feel comfortable with the format.

If you are interested in joining an upcoming men's or mixed therapy group — either online or in Leyton— please reach out. I keep a waiting list for upcoming enrollment windows and can notify you when the next group is forming.
